Luxury Seasonal Door Wreath With Sophie Ayres

Join Sophie Ayres from SA Floristry and learn how to create a stunning door wreath. Using fresh seasonal materials and lots of other accessories!

This workshop is ideal for beginners who are interested in learning the basics of Floral Design.

The class will cover how to create a door wreath using an oasis frame, lots of seasonal fresh products and a selection of accessories to add to your wreaths.

You will learn how to correctly soak and use oasis. Also, how to use different foliages and materials to create a unique design.

It will cover various floristry techniques which I will talk you through step by step throughout the <<morning/afternoon/evening>>.

You will be encouraged to experiment with different colours and textures to create your own door wreath.

  • How to correctly use wet floral foam
  • Botanical names for the products you are using
  • How to condition your material before use for best results
  • How experimenting with colour and texture can create a unique design
  • Care of your wreath once made to help it last as long as possible!

Please bring your own scissors and an apron to wear as it can get a little messy! All other materials will be provided. This includes lots of mixed seasonal fresh materials and accessories for your wreaths. So, everyone can experiment to create a unique design! You will leave having hand crafted a unique door wreath to take home and show off on your front door! Or where ever you wish to hang it.
